Pastor Rodney Jenkins

May I introduce myself to you? I came to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of seventeen. After serving four years in Naval Construction, with a tour in Vietnam, I answered the call into the Gospel ministry at the age of twenty-two. I received my training and education at Campbellsville College (now Campbellsville University) in Campbellsville, Kentucky and Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. I have served five congregations as pastor, with two in Kentucky and three in Virginia. I have been at Pine Grove since November 2005, serving as interim until March 2006 when I was called as pastor. God has truly blessed us with spiritual as well as physical growth, allowing us to build our present facility, moving into it in January of 2010. Glory to God! My wife and I have three grown sons and four grandchildren. Pine Grove is not just the church I pastor, it is my family in Christ and I feel very blessed to be pastor and friend to those I serve.
